Dental Careers Foundation (DCF) is dedicated to preparing the next generation of dental professionals through hands-on, career focused education. We provide accessible training programs designed to meet the needs of both aspiring and current dental assistants looking to grow in the field.
Our programs emphasize real-world experience, combining practical clinical training with essential academic knowledge to ensure students are fully prepared for the demands of today’s dental environments. From foundational chairside assisting skills to advance radiology training, our curriculum is built to develop competence, confidence, and professionalism.

Highlights of Dental Assisting Program
- Twelve intensive, all-day training sessions on Saturdays only.
- All training aids, instruments, necessary books, course syllabus containing notes on all lecture material, and materials for hands-on procedures all provided.
- All classes are taught in an actual dental office by dental clinicians, using the latest in dental equipment, procedures and audio/visual aids.
- Receive Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting.
- Assistance in setting up students radiology exam (RHS) is provided and the fee is included with tuition.

DCF is unlike some programs that last 6-12 months, cost many thousands of dollars, and have little “hands-on” training! In twelve weeks, with a focus on practical training and limited expense, DCF students have a solid foundation of skills and are able to successfully enter the dental profession.

Rich’s dental journey began in 2003 by graduating from Dental Careers Foundation. Rich is one of our instructors at DCF. He started out as an assistant in cosmetic dentistry for the first 2 years but in 2005 he found Orthodontics and his excitement for teaching. His other passion is education.
He is always continuing his dental education by taking classes in Hygiene and learning from the Dr’s and Nurse practitioners in Orthodontics, Cleft palate, Expansion, Tongue Tie. He is the Clinical Department head in a successful orthodontic office currently and training and giving career support to his team. Rich has been an Instructor for DCF since 2005. He is well versed in the DCF curriculum, but his specialty is dental radiology. “The more I know the more I can pass on to my students.
I never stop learning. DCF has been very good for me, giving me the knowledge to start my career dream.” In his off time, Rich joined the Red Cross in Sept 2024. He gives his time to other charities and is always ready for a learning session. He is an avid ceramics painter, awesome game night host, and is controlled by his true love, his dachshund named Orry.
